The Accidental Journalist by Sabuhi Gard

The Accidental Journalist is a semi-autobiographical account of my life as a national newspaper journalist in the late 1990s and early 2000s as seen through the eyes of the main character in the book – Sabrina Muir.
WHAT I HAVE LEARNT ABOUT FALLING INTO JOURNALISM…
- No-one likes a sub-editor.
- Journalists like freebies.
- Everyone wants to be a columnist and reporter. Not a sub-editor.
- Journalism doesn’t pay. This should be Number 1.
- Journalists are WEIRD.
